The forecast calls for a sunny, hot weekend along the Wasatch Front.
The temperature should rise to about 90 in Salt Lake City and Ogden and the lower 90s in Provo and Wendover on Saturday, the National Weather Service predicts. The high in Park City is expected to reach the mid 80s.
Sunday should bring more hot weather, with highs ranging from the high 80s to the mid 90s, the weather service says. It says overnight lows this weekend in the Wasatch Front will range from the low 50s to mid 60s.
The thermometer in St. George is expected to hit 100 degrees on Saturday and Sunday, with the lows dropping to the low 70s.
