Ogden police announced Friday morning that a mother and her 7-year-old son — who had been deemed endangered missing persons — had been located.

Both are safe and healthy, according to police.

The Utah Division of Child and Family Services is investigating.

Gina Cross and her son Noah Gardner were last seen leaving St. Anne's Center, at 137 W. Binford St., on last Friday, according to an Ogden police news release. Concerned, Cross' family reported them missing on Thursday.

Cross is mentally ill and delinquent in her treatment plan, according to the release. Cross' family and DCFS were concerned for Noah's welfare, the release added.
