Five people allegedly robbed a man in the parking lot of This is The Place Heritage Park.

The man works for a company that buys and refurbishes cell phones, and he had arranged to meet people in the parking lot and buy phones from them, said Salt Lake City Police Lt. Brian Purvis.

About 6:35 p.m., the suspects — four males and a female — arrived under the guise of selling him the phones, but instead restrained him and stole his wallet, Purvis said. The suspects then fled.

The victim was uninjured but "kind of shaken up," so police are waiting to ask him about what the suspects and their vehicle looked like, the lieutenant said.
