A 74-year-old Provo man who went missing Friday in Salt Lake City has been found, police say.

Salt Lake City police said in a tweet Saturday morning that Dennis Larsen has made it home and is safe.

Larsen, who has dementia, had come up to Salt Lake City from Utah County with his brother. He stayed behind in the car while his brother went hiking at Ensign Peak on Friday afternoon but was gone when the brother returned.
