Police: Woman offered sex acts at massage parlor
Orem, Utah • Orem police have arrested a 50-year-old woman accused of offering sexual favors to massage clients.
Lt. Craig Martinez says detectives began investigating the massage parlor called Foot Massage after receiving citizen tips in June.
Martinez says business listings for the massage parlor featured women in revealing clothing and a business license listed false phone numbers and addresses.
An undercover officer went to the parlor in July and a worker offered to perform sexual acts for money.
Martinez says the officer declined and left.
Detectives on Tuesday searched the business and arrested Jie Xing. She was booked into the Utah County Jail on suspicion of sexual solicitation and unlawful massage therapy practice.
