Unified Police on Friday cancelled an endangered missing person advisory for a mentally handicapped Magna man after he was found alive and well.

UPD Lt. Justin Hoyal said 58-year-old David Evans was last seen at his home, 2867 S. Fetzer Drive, about 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

"We [were] concerned about Evans due to his diminished mental capacity and the time frame that he has been missing. He has never been gone for this amount of time before," Hoyal said.

However, about 7 a.m., Evans was spotted by a citizen walking in the 500 South block of Delong Street. Salt Lake City police responded and found Evans in good condition, Hoyal said.
