A semi-trailer truck overturned on Interstate 80 near Lambs Canyon early Wednesday afternoon, temporarily closing two westbound lanes and causing heavy delays in traffic.

By 8:40 p.m., the delays had ended and traffic was moving smoothly.

The truck overturned and landed on its side because its trailer brakes failed, said Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Dwayne Baird, adding that no one was reported injured in the single-vehicle accident.
