California man dies in southern Utah rollover

A Fontana, Calif., man died in a Thursday night rollover crash on Interstate 15.

Tomasi F. Toutai, 62, was driving north on I-15 when for an unknown reason, he swerved to the left near the Iron County town of Summit, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

At 11:53 p.m., the Chevy Cobalt slid and went through the median, rolling near the southbound lanes, the UHP added in a news release.

Toutai was ejected from the Cobalt as it rolled, and he died. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the UHP.
