The Utah Department of Transportation will be closing State Road 39 Ogden Canyon for about four hours Wednesday, starting at 5:00 p.m., to assist road crews.

The Utah Highway Patrol will be assisting with traffic control while crews remove several jersey barriers that were knocked into the river by a semi, according to a tweet from the Weber County Sheriff's Office.

"This was a minor accident/no damage to the truck. It brushed the barriers, knocking a couple into the river," the sheriff's office tweeted.

UDOT suggested drivers use SR-187 via I-84 as an alternative.
