A rollover crash on the Mountain View Corridor in West Jordan left a man in critical condition Monday morning.

West Jordan police Sgt. Dan Roberts said the injured man was driving a black Volkswagen Jetta westbound on 7800 South at 7:17 a.m. when it ran a red light at the intersection with 6000 West. A southbound Jeep hit the Jetta, causing it to roll.

Roberts said the Jetta's driver, who was not immediately identified, was flown to a hospital by helicopter. The woman driving the Jeep was unhurt, he said.

The crash closed the westbound right lane for about 90 minutes while debris was cleared.
