A 7th District Court judge showed kindness and generosity to those who came before him, according to his obituary.
Paul Crawford Keller, born Aug. 22, 1925, in Castle, died Thursday in Salt Lake City of "causes incident to age," his obituary reads. He was 88 years old.
After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Keller went on to become a city judge in Price for seven years and a 7th District Juvenile Court judge for 29 years. He retired in 1991.
"His life was characterized by a tremendous love and care for those closest to him, as well as generosity and kindness to all he knew, including those who appeared before him on the bench," his obituary reads. "He was happiest when he was providing for others, and did so until his passing."
He and his wife were also active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving a mission in Washington, D.C.
"He lived honorably and with integrity in every aspect of his life," his obituary reads. "Paul's passion was for his family, both those who preceded him and those who came after."
Keller is survived by his wife, his two sisters and four children.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Little Cottonwood 1st Ward, at 6350 Rodeo Lane in Murray. In lieu of flowers, the family requests people contribute to the Caresource Charitable Foundation or a hospice of your choice.
