Body found in northern Utah reservoir

Weber County search and rescue crews have found a teenage girl’s body in Pineview Reservoir.

About 3 p.m., several people near the shore of Anderson Cove saw the teen’s body, according to the Weber County Sheriff’s Office. The 16-year-old had been reported as a runaway, according to the sheriff’s office.

Search and rescue dive teams recovered her body just east of the cove, which is on the south side of the reservoir, in about 15 feet of water.

Her body was turned over to the state medical examiner.
