JCC has installed two solar arrays — a 2.08 kilowatt array in the main building plus a 20.08 kilowatt array on the roof of the indoor pool facility. Jewish center unveils $100,000 solar panel array to help ‘repair the world’

The I.J. & Jeanné Wagner Jewish Community Center unveiled its $100,000 solar panel project Sunday as part of the family fun day.

A JCC news release said that thanks to Rocky Mountain Power’s Blue Sky renewable energy program, the center was able to install a 2.08 kilowatt array on its main building plus a 20.08 kilowatt array on the roof of its indoor pool facility.

The JCC said the project is an extension of its commitment to the ideal of Tikkun Olum, Hebrew for "repairing the world."

Sunday’s festivities include pool games, food and giveaways.
