A woman and two children died Friday in a Tooele County crash.

A pick-up truck was turning around on Interstate 80, about 30 miles east of Wendover, when about 6:39 p.m. it crashed into a Chevy Suburban, said Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Cory Nye. A woman, a teenage girl and an infant in the Suburban died at the scene, Nye said.

The man who was driving the Suburban and the driver of the pick-up were both taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Dispatchers had received calls that the pick-up was driving erratically prior to the crash, Nye said. Investigators suspect the pick-up driver was under the influence, and that it appears that the infant and teenager were either not wearing seat belts or wearing them improperly, Nye added.
