Yeah, it's going to be hot in Utah as the midweek arrives. But it could be worse. (Check this forecast.)
After all, restaurateurs rustling up eggs and bacon have not abandoned their grills for sidewalks. Trees aren't whistling up dogs for relief.
Along the Wasatch Front, high temperatures Wednesday will reach the 90s, mirroring Tuesday's forecast. Some relief will come from afternoon breezes of 10-20 mph.
Southern Utahns braced for daytime temperatures in the 90s, too, under mostly clear skies. Again, 10-20 mph breezes in the afternoon will help dry the perspiration.
The Utah Division of Air Quality gave "yellow," or compromised air quality grades for most of the state as the week began, with only Box Elder, Cache, Tooele and Carbon counties getting "green," or healthy ratings.
The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website listed mold at "high" levels and gave "moderate" grades to grass and plantain pollen.
