Petersen was last seen by family members on the docks of Bear Lake State Park Marina just after 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Divers found and retrieved his body in about 15 feet of water shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday.

Parks officials continue to investigate the death, and Petersen’s body has been turned over to the state Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
