Salt Lake Tribune columnist Robert Kirby spent Father's Day weekend on the Tavaputs Plateau shooting gumballs from wrist rockets, eventually advancing to blowing up a dryer with a bowling ball.

The first bowling ball missed and came close to hitting a cabin. The second one did some damage, but the third one took the dead dryer to the parts department.
