Video: Robert Kirby’s literally explosive Father’s Day

First Published Jun 18 2014 12:15 pm • Last Updated Jun 20 2014 10:56 pm

Salt Lake Tribune columnist Robert Kirby spent Father’s Day weekend on the Tavaputs Plateau shooting gumballs from wrist rockets, eventually advancing to blowing up a dryer with a bowling ball.

The first bowling ball missed and came close to hitting a cabin. The second one did some damage, but the third one took the dead dryer to the parts department.
