An Orem man died in a Garfield County motorcycle crash.

About 4 p.m. Saturday, David T. Wuergler, 50, was driving a BMW motorcycle on State Road 12. About 20 miles east of Escalante, Wuergler appeared to have been "traveling too fast on a curve in the road," according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

He crossed the center line and went into the path of an eastbound RV, striking its left-front corner, according to the UHP.

Wuergler died on impact. The people inside the RV were not hurt.
