Get out your umbrella — it’s going to be a rainy day in Utah.

The National Weather Service is predicting rain showers and thunderstorms throughout most of the state on Saturday, with highs ranging from the mid 60s to the upper 70s.

The Salt Lake and Tooele valleys will see numerous showers late in the morning, with scattered rain in the afternoon. The high should reach the low 70s in the valleys and the lower 50s in the mountains.

Scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms are predicted late in the morning for the rest of the Wasatch Front, which also will see high temperatures in the low 70s.

Sunny skies and highs in the 70s are predicted for Sunday for most of the Wasatch Front. The Park City area has a 20 percent chance of rain Sunday afternoon with a high around 70.
