First Published May 23 2014 12:59 pm • Last Updated May 23 2014 01:19 pm

The conditions of all four people hurt when a truck ran off a west Uintah County road and rolled earlier this week had improved by Friday.

The 24-year-old male driver from Myton was in serious condition, improved from critical, while his three male passengers — ages 23, 24 and 48 — were in fair to good condition.

Uintah County sheriff’s Corporal Brian Fletcher said the accident remained under investigation, but speed and alcohol were believed factors in the crash.

The truck crashed about 4 p.m. Wednesday when the driver lost control of the westbound vehicle and crashed at 5000 N. 2500 East. The driver was ejected as the vehicle rolled, sustaining the most serious injuries.
