Crash closes eastbound lanes of I-80 near Wendover

All eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 were temporarily closed at a location about six miles east of Wendover, near the Nevada border, due to a Wednesday afternoon crash.

The Utah Department of Transportation reported the crash at 2:17 p.m. and suggested motorists use an alternate route.

But by about 2:48 p.m., the lanes had reopened.
