Like that sunshine and clearing skies on Wednesday? Thursday promises an encore for Utah that will be even better.
The National Weather Service predicted daytime highs in the mid-70s for Thursday along the Wasatch Front, up about 5 degrees from Wednesday’s forecast.
Southern Utahns, meanwhile, were digging out the T-shirts, haltertops, shorts and sandals as thermometers Thursday were expected to climb into the low-90s, up 5 to 7 degrees from Wednesday’s forecast.
The Utah Division of Air Quality gave "green," or healthy grades statewide with the exception of southwestern Utah’s Washington County and eastern Utah’s Duchesne County, where air quality was "yellow," or moderate.
Allergy sufferers were catching a break. The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website’s pollen index was "low" for all allergens as the week passed its midpoint.
