A cool, wet and windy forecast was on tap for northern and southern Utah on Tuesday.
Temperatures on Tuesday were to rise into the upper 60s as thunderstorms and rain showers settled over the Wasatch Front. That was to come in the wake of a breezy Monday's upper 70s.
Steady winds of 25-35 mph were predicted for southern Utah on Monday as temperatures hovered near 90 degrees. Tuesday's forecast called for more winds, rain showers and highs in the mid-70s.
Windy weather and precipitation helped keep air quality statewide in the "green," or healthy category, according to the Utah Division of Air Quality.
Meanwhile, if you have an allergy to mulberry pollen, Monday was not a good day for you. The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website rated mulberry at "very high" on its index, while oak came in at "moderate."
