A car versus TRAX train accident Wednesday afternoon caused transit delays on the Utah Transit Authority’s airport line.

UTA officials said a woman was driving her vehicle parallel to the train at around 12:20 p.m. near 100 S. Main St. when the driver made a left turn in front of the moving train, and the two collided.

The woman was not seriously injured, according to officials, and was not taken to a hospital.

Minor delays occurred for riders on the "green line" train that runs between West Valley City and the Salt Lake City International Airport while workers cleared the tracks.
