Woman arrested after Salt Lake City car fire

A woman was arrested Tuesday morning after a car was set on fire in Salt Lake City.

Fire crews were called to 2225 S. 500 East early Tuesday on a report of a vehicle fire.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire before it reached the nearby Wasatch Plaza apartments, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, according to authorities, but one woman was arrested. Details about the woman or how she was connected to the fire were not immediately released Tuesday.
