Brigham Young University to graduate 5,800 students

4 p.m. Thursday » Brigham Young University will hold its main ceremony at the Marriott Center, 500 E. University Parkway in Provo.

The commencement speaker will be Elder Craig A. Cardon of the First Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The student speaker is Megan Hirschi, a native of Milton, Ga., and an honors graduate who majored in biochemistry and minored in music.

Individual colleges will hold ceremonies Friday.
