Salt Lake City police are looking for a female suspect in the robbery of a Union Central Credit Union branch office.

The suspect, described as a 5-foot-5, heavy set white woman, 40-45 years old, entered the credit union at 25 E. 1700 South about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. The suspect, wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and a bandana on her head, demanded money from a teller and then fled on foot after receiving an unspecified amount of cash.

She was last seen running eastbound on 1700 South.

No weapon was seen and no one was injured.
