A 57-year-old Ogden woman died late Saturday from injuries she suffered earlier that evening in a traffic crash.

The Utah Highway Patrol is still notifying her family has not disclosed the woman's name, though UHP spokesman Jesse Valenzuela said the woman and two passengers in her car were all from Ogden.

Just after 6 p.m. Saturday, the woman, a 24-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were travelling north on Interstate 15 when their vehicle rolled near Brigham City. The older woman was driving and it appears she suffered from a medical condition that caused her to pass out, Valenzuela said.

The driver was thrown from the vehicle and landed in a fence, Valenzuela said. She died about 8 p.m. just before she was to enter surgery.

The passengers were driven to the hospital in ambulances. Valenzuela said they were wearing seat belts but the driver was not.
