A woman was ejected from a vehicle as it rolled on the freeway near Brigham City.

Just after 6 p.m. Saturday, a 57-year-old woman, a 24-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were travelling north on Interstate 15 when their vehicle rolled near mile marker 362. It appears that the driver, the older woman, suffers from a medical condition that caused her to pass out, said Utah Highway Patrol spokesman Jesse Valenzuela.

The driver was thrown from the vehicle and flown in a helicopter to a local hospital in serious condition, Valenzuela said. She suffered leg and internal injuries, but was stabilized prior to the flight, Valenzuela said.

The other two were driven to the hospital in ambulances.

Troopers had to close the northbound lanes for a short time to clear the crash scene.
