Salt Lake City’s Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested 13 people Wednesday in an operation that also netted seven firearms, 10 pounds of methamphetamine and heroin, eight vehicles, and $175,000.

The suspects were charged in federal indictments with distribution of methamphetamine and heroin; conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and heroin; possession of methamphetamine and heroin with intent to distribute; and money laundering, according to a U.S. attorney’s office news release. Authorities said the drug case involves a local street gang.
