Happy Friday. David Letterman announced his impending retirement from The Late Show. The late night stalwart has had plenty of politicos on his show, and in honor of his most famous bit, here are his top 10 political moments, which includes cameos from Mitt Romney, Barack Obama and Chris Christie. Topping the news: President Barack Obama had some of the U.S. Olympians over at the White House and had fun with snowboarding lingo: "I would personally like to thank all of our snowboarders and freestyle skiers for making newscasters across America say things like 'air to fakie,' and the 'back-to-back double cork 1260. I don't know what that means, really, but I just wanted to say it. I'm pretty sure I'm the first president to ever say that." [USAToday]

-> Utah's Sage Kotsenburg, one of those snowboarders, was a little too shellshocked to say "What's up dog?" to the president as he said he would. Still, he was impressed that Obama was down with the lingo. [Trib]

Nationally: The new chief executive at Mozilla was forced out after it became known that he donated $1,000 to support California's Prop 8, which banned gay marriages. [NYTimes] [FoxNews]

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden meet with Secretary of the Treasury Jack Lew, and later with Tunisian Prime Minister Mehdi. He also hosts a reception for Greek Independence Day.
