A West Jordan power outage triggered by a pole fire Thursday morning left about 575 customers without electricity.

Rocky Mountain Power crews had fully restored service by 9:04 a.m., about 35 minutes after the first was spotted near 3200 West and 7800 South.

The resulting outage affected customers within the 84084 ZIP code, the utility reported.

The specific cause of the fire was under investigation, but was believed related to a morning snowstorm that hit parts of the Salt Lake Valley.
