Utah welcomes home Olympic gold medalist Ted Ligety

Olympic gold medalist Ted Ligety poses for a photo with 8-year-old Cayan Winans, 8, at Park City Mountain Resort on Saturday. Ligety, who grew up in Park City, drew crowds at two celebrations — one at the resort and a second one later in the day at Valley Fair Mall. Ligety took gold in the giant slalom at the Sochi Winter Olympics last month and later clinched the World Cup giant slalom title. At the 2012 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, he won gold in the combined.
