Warm and breezy spring weather is on Utah's climatological menu as the new week gets underway.

The National Weather Service predicted high temperatures on Tuesday in the low-70s for the Wasatch Front, up 5-7 degrees from Monday's forecast. Winds of 15-25 mph, with gusts reaching 35 mph, also were expected — along with a slight chance of rain late Tuesday night.

Southern Utahns looked for sunny and clear skies to usher in daytime highs topping 80 degrees. On Tuesday night winds will pick up, steadily blowing at 15-25 mph with gusts of 30 mph.

The Utah Division of Air Quality graded breathability statewide as in the"green," or healthy category.
