A Roy, Utah man was killed Thursday night when he crashed on a curve and rolled on Interstate 80 about 19 miles east of Rock Springs, Wyo.

Wyoming Highway Patrol Sgt. Stephen Townsend said that several motorists told troopers that the 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix being driven by 33-year-old Nathaneal Chase had been traveling at excessive speed westbound about the time of the crash.

Chase, who was partially ejected from his car as it rolled off the left side of the freeway, was dead at the scene.
