Warren Jeffs has reportedly been hospitalized in Galveston, Texas.
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice describes the imprisoned leader of The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as in the hospital on its online offender listings Sunday evening. The website does not provide any further detail, including when Jeffs was sent to the hospital.
The criminal justice department and a Galveston hospital could not immediately be reached for comment.
This is not Jeffs’ first hospitalization. In 2011, he was treated at the hospital after becoming sick while fasting.
