Unified Police were hunting a robber Friday who held up a credit union in Taylorsville.

The man robbed the Mountain America Credit Union at 2627 W. 4700 South in Taylorsville, according to Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal. After walking inside about 5:45 p.m., he approached a teller and demanded cash.

The teller complied and the man fled on foot.

Police say the robber was a white man in his 50s, standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He wore a surgical mask during the robbery, as well as a blue windbreaker, jeans and a blue baseball cap with orange writing. He also wore glasses. The man is considered dangerous.
