Two people with dementia who were reported missing — an elderly Springville woman and a Millcreek man — are unharmed, officials said.

The man, Michael James Howard, 52, was found early Saturday by police. He was unharmed, officials said, after being missing for nearly 12 hours.

Howard disappeared from Deseret Care Center, 950 E. 3300 South, in Millcreek, according to the Unified Police Department.

Springville police officers continued Saturday to look for Marilyn Nadeen Marlowe, 78, though the urgency has waned. Officers said she has contacted several family members and it seems she is in good health and not in danger.

Marlowe drove away from her home on Feb. 19 in her white 1995 Ford Contour.

Springville police will continue to look for the woman to "make sure" she's OK, a dispatcher told The Salt Lake Tribune.
