Springville police continued Friday to look for an elderly woman with dementia who is believed to have driven away from her home on Feb. 19.

Marilyn Nadeen Marlowe, 78, was last seen behind the wheel of her white 1995 Ford Contour, which bears a Utah plate numbered 785UYF.

She is 5-foot-5, about 145 pounds, with gray-brown hair and blue eyes. She wears glasses.

In issuing a missing/endangered missing person advisory on Thursday, police did not explain why it had taken so long for the family to report the woman missing.

However, family members said Marlowe may be confused and also off her heart medication.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Springville police at 801-489-9421.
