House Concurrent Resolution 8, or HCR8, would affirm the legislature's support of moving the Utah State Prison out of Draper.
Sponsor Rep. Brad Wilson, R-Kaysville, says the resolution only spells out legislative support of relocation. It does not indicate a preferred relocation site, timing or how the Draper property would be used after the prison vacates the site.
