You can see how spring is desperately trying to break through but won't quite make it this weekend.

Skies will be mostly cloudy with highs in Salt Lake County Saturday around 50 degrees. On Sunday, the skies will clear and temperatures will creep up to 55 degrees. Overnight lows for both days will be in the mid-30s. Highs Monday will reach 60 degrees giving us just a taste of the upcoming spring season.

Not to say it won't get a little dicey in some higher elevations along northern Utah.

According to the National Weather Service, light snow is expected Saturday and Saturday night at higher terrain along the Wasatch Front and into Cache County with minor accumulations that could affect travel in some areas.

Highs in Cache Valley Saturday will be near 41 with a slight chance of snow with overnight lows in the mid-20s. Highs Sunday will be 47 Sunday.

Meanwhile, the St. George area will be sunny through the weekend with highs in the mids-60s and lows in the mid-30s. Areas around Moab also will be clear with highs this weekend in the upper 50s.
