Cache County jail inmate dies

An inmate has died at the Cache County Jail.

Bradley Roach, 47, of Providence, was arrested late Tuesday and booked into the jail on suspicion of intoxication and weapons violations, according to jail records.

He was found unresponsive in his cell about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, deputies wrote in a statement. Roach was taken to Logan Regional Hospital, where he died.

The death is being investigated by the Davis County Sheriff’s Office and medical examiners. Deputies were not releasing further information as to the cause of Roach’s death.
