A 21-year-old man was arrested Sunday morning after, authorities said, he rammed a police car while attempting to flee officers in Park City.

Park City police said numerous people called 911 about 2 a.m. Sunday to report a drunken driving suspect leaving the Main Street area of Park City.

Witnesses then observed the vehicle hit a taxi cab at 427 Main St. and then flee.

Police caught up with the 21-year-old as he was turning north onto Park Aveune and attempted to stop him, but the man kept going.

As he fled, the man's vehicle collided with a police car trying to pull him over at 1350 Park Ave.

The chase eventually ended at 1450 Park Ave.

No one was injured.

The man, a resident of Summit County, was arrested on suspicion of assault on a police officer with a dangerous weapon, failure to stop at the command of a police officer, possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of GHB, driving under the influence and several other misdemeanor charges.
