First Published Feb 02 2014 04:38 pm • Last Updated Feb 03 2014 11:40 am

A man has died at an Iron County mine, according to sheriff’s office.

The death occurred Saturday night at the Comstock/Mountain Lion Mine — west of Cedar City — and appears to be accidental, said Iron County sheriff’s Sgt. Charles Triplett. However, the sergeant could not immediately identify the man or say whether he was with the mining operation.
