A snow plow driver’s collision with a utility pole caused loss of electrical power to about 2,400 customers in West Valley City Thursday morning.
Police said the crash occurred about 7:30 a.m. when the rig struck the pole near 3500 South and 3600 West. No injuries were reported.
Rocky Mountain Power said the outage affected residences and businesses in both the 84119 and 84120 zip code areas.
Repair crews had restored full service by 11 a.m.
