First Published Jan 31 2014 08:52 am • Last Updated Jan 31 2014 01:35 pm

In Jana Richman’s 2012 novel "An Ordinary Truth," secrets, lies and a controversial water pipeline project test the relationships between three generations of women in a Nevada ranching family.

On Friday at 12:15 p.m., Richman joins Tribune columnist Ann Cannon, book reporter Ellen Fagg Weist and reporter Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about the book in the first installment of the Tribune’s new monthly book club, Utah Lit.
