Salt Lake City police are looking for the man they suspect hit an acquaintance with his pick-up truck.
About 4 p.m. Saturday, a family dispute near 550 W. 200 South culminated in the man driving his truck and hitting a friend of his mother, said police Lt. Josh Scharmann. The suspect fled while the victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. He is expected to survive.
A few hours later, police found the suspect’s truck at an apartment complex near 300 E. 700 South. The suspect, though, was gone.
Police have not yet released a physical description of the man.
