Montgomery County police say it happened Saturday around 7 p.m. Police say a preliminary investigation indicates the driver of an Acura TL was on Quince Orchard Boulevard turning left onto eastbound Quince Orchard Road when a Dodge Durango hit the Acura.

The driver of the Acura was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the Dodge was transported to a hospital where he died. Police say neither driver was wearing a seat belt.

Police identified the driver of the Dodge as 41-year-old Jared Lee Fondren, of American Fork. The driver of the Acura was identified as 67-year-old Bok Sun Kim, of Gaithersburg.
