A Las Vegas man died Sunday after driving off Interstate 15 in Beaver County.

Joseph Chase, 41, was traveling north on I-15 in a green Hyundai when he veered right and off the road near mile post 119, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. He then crashed into a tree and the Hyundai flipped onto its roof.

Chase — the only one in the car — was partially ejected. He was rushed to the hospital but died shortly after he arrived.

It's possible that a medical episode caused Chase to veer off the road, according to UHP.
