Cedar City police are asking for the public's help to find a bank robber.

About 2 p.m. Saturday, a white man in an oversized coat approached a teller at the Wells Fargo Bank at 797 S. Main St. He handed a note demanding money, received an undisclosed amount and fled with it on foot, according to a police news release.

No one was hurt and there were no indications he had a weapon.

Cedar City police searched the area looking for him and any evidence, but the investigation is ongoing.

The suspect is described as a man in his 60s with gray hair. He was last seen wearing a dark colored, oversized coat and a tan or khaki hat, according to the release.
